The Selection Committee
The prize is awarded by the University of Oslo after nomination by a committee appointed by the University.
Currently the following persons serve in the committee:

- Director Nils A. Butenschøn
- Professor Aud Tønnessen
- Sven Mollekleiv, The Norwegian Red Cross
