What does the Government expect from universities? How can we build democracy with innovation? Should the university be an innovative partner and/or a critical watchdog? These are some of the questions discussed in this conference hosted by the University of Oslo (UiO) and the Norwegian Students' and Academics' International Assistance Fund (SAIH).

The conference is a continuation of the 2012 Global Citizen lecture series into the UiO Innovation Year 2013.

Moderator: Eva Bratholm, Head of Communications at the Norwegian Agency for Development Cooperation (Norad).
