The report “Assessing Implementation of Sustainability at UiO” measures and analyses the university’s sustainability efforts in terms of operations, management, research and studies, comparing these data with 20 other universities all over the world. The analysis was carried out by sustainability adviser Maryam Faghih Imani at Green UiO.

If you can’t measure it, you can’t manage it

In the 2010 report, UiO turned out to be among the less green universities, and since then several efforts, projects and activities have been undertaken to implement Environmental Sustainability (ES). In terms of measuring ES, UiO now has a far better overview of its status and therefore has the opportunity to take great steps forward in this area.
