The Assistant University Director deputises for the University Director’s as well as having the following areas of responsibilities:

• Contact with and follow-up of UiO’s museums, centres and International Summer School 
• Contact with and follow-up of USIT, University of Oslo Library, buildings and building matters
• Contact with the City of Oslo 
• Green UiO
• UiO 200, ceremonies and prize-giving ceremonies
• Leader of the Local Working Environment Committee for the Central Administration and Deputy on the Working Environment Committee.
