The Pro-Rector deputises for the Rector with the following areas of responsibility:

• Leader, UiO’s Research Committee 
• Leader, Equal Opportunities Coordination Group
• Chair, Steering Group, Green UiO
• Chair, University Awards Committee
• Chair, Committee for the Eitinger Prize (University of Oslo’s Human Rights Committee)
• Responsibility for the university museums and library
• Responsibility for liaising with the Student Parliament
