Leadership development

The Organisation and Personnel Department’s organizational development team (OD team) is responsible for organisational and leadership development at UiO. They offer courses and specially adapted in-house arrangements for both academic and administrative staff.

The long-term aims for leadership development at UiO are to create a recognizable leadership culture across units and faculties. Good leadership is an important tool in achieving the aims of UiO’s strategy plan. UiO, through OPA, offers courses and arrangements in leadership development and support for organisational development. Read more about these services on these pages.

Leadership and organisational development support

OPA offers a number of courses that new and established leaders may use. There are different arrangements for both administrative and academic staff. The organisational development team (OD team) can also offer advice and services with regard to internal processes, e.g. team development, leadership development, reorganization processes, difficult individual cases and so on.
