Spread the word! The UiO Festival 2013
It’s time for another UiO Festival. In addition to all our employees, we invite the population of the entire city. Since we don’t have a big marketing budget we must rely on word of mouth, and we hope that you will help us.
On Saturday 20 April, Blindern campus will be crammed with food stalls, a circus tent, music and enthusiastic people.
On this day, UiO will showcase some of its major achievements. Help us reach out to ensure that people come to visit Blindern campus. If all UiOers spread information about the festival, we can pull the crowds in to Blindern and demonstrate why this is such an outstanding place to work and study. We ask you to tell your family and friends that Blindern can provide events for young and old, children of all ages, knowledge-seekers and culture hounds.
Bring your friends and family to:
- Lecture by Professor Asim K. Duttaroy from the Faculty of Medicine: Development of a cardioprotective functional food
- Lecture by Yook-Pei Shee, Department Manager at EVRY Financial Services: Product development for Norwegian banks
- Lecture by By Haakon Bryhni, Chief Operating Officer (COO), Elliptic Labs: Ultrasonic touchless interaction from Elliptic Labs enables the magic in devices
- Concerts featuring Margaret Berger, Lars Lillo-Stenberg, Oslo Guitar Quartet, Decoy, Maj Britt Andersen, Jan Erik Vold, Egil Kapstad and others.
- Lectures by Thomas Hylland Eriksen, Arne Torp, Beate Sjåfjell, Sunniva Rose, Alf Rehn and many others.
- Stalls from Mathallen Oslo and “creative tents” at Frederikkeplassen (campus square).
