Safety and contingency planning
UiO has “controlled risk” as its HSE aim.
The target is operationalized in the following ways:
UiO’s units shall endeavour in all their activities to appear fully justifiable by means of their active work with:
- Identification of current HSE risks
- Specific allocation of responsibility
- Good risk management
- Contingency planning adapted to the situation
Safety is ensured by mapping and by preventive measures; contingency planning is ensured by mapping and by measures designed to deal with various unwanted events.
