EU Framework Programmes at UiO

Since 1991, the University of Oslo has participated in the world’s largest research programme, EU’s Framework Programme for Research and Development. Various research environments at the University have participated in more than 400 research projects with EU funding. The EU office in the Department of Research Administration

The EU office comprises three EU advisors and a lawyer with expertise in the field of EU affairs. They provide guidance to the university’s management, groups of academics and individual researchers through all stages of EU projects, with an emphasis on information, the application process and contract negotiations.
The faculties and the academic environments are responsible for the operational administration of EU projects, but the EU office also provides guidance and support during this stage.
