Research Schools at the University of Oslo
The Research Council of Norway finances a system of national research schools. Fifteen such schools are established, five in 2008, and ten in 2013.
The national research schools are formal networks for PhD training, consisting of universities, university colleges and research institutes. They arrange joint courses and seminars, supplement supervision capacity and share laboratory facilities where relevant.
