This is very basic audio and video recorder, with the possibility to record from a camera connected to the computer. It offers the possibility to control brightness, contrast and saturation in realtime, and to choose different types of audio and video compression. The option to automatically create file names based on the computer's date and time, allows for quick recording.

The Musical Gestures Toolbox is a collection of modules and abstractions developed in and for the graphical programming environment Max 5 . The toolbox is currently being developed within the Jamoma open platform for interactive art-based research and performance. The toolbox is probably most useful for people that already are experienced Max programmers. People looking for similar functionality should check out some of the standalone applications we have built based on the toolbox.

AudioAnalysis is a small program for displaying the spectrum and spectrogram of incoming audio in realtime. It also provides realtime analyses of various perceptually relevant features.

Postdoctoral researcher Alexander Refsum Jensenius has updated the AudioAnalysis software to version 0.5 (previously SoundAnalysis). The new version provides a larger spectrogram view, and the option to change various spectrogram features on the fly. The quantitative features have been moved to a separate window, and now also includes simple beat tracking.

All in all, the new version of AudioAnalysis provides basic sound visualisation and plotting of some perceptually relevant features. See the software web page for screenshots, a tutorial video and the program files (for both OSX and Windows).

Just tagged a new release of the Jamoma GDIF tools.

It can be downloaded from by following the instructions on our software website, or using this direct link.

The changes are mainly small bug changes and updating the stream types, but also adding user-adjustable time tag delay (by sending the /timeTagDelay message to the module).
