3rd International Conference on Democracy as Idea and Practice, Oslo, 12-13 January 2012

The Research Programme on Democracy is pleased to announce its third international conference on Democracy as Idea and Practice in Oslo. The conference is inter-disciplinary, aimed primarily at researchers from the humanities, social sciences and law. The venue is at the University of Oslo Blindern campus.

Some workshops may accept new participants also after 15 September. Those who are accepted as participants (paper givers, discussants or ordinary participants) will get registration details in an e-mail from the conference secretariat. Participants are expected to cover their own travel expenses (unless otherwise agreed), but we will cover hotel accommodation (2 nights) for paper presenters and discussants. Everyone who attends is invited to a reception/dinner on Thursday evening, as well as lunches Thursday and Friday.
