LEVE’s Research Group “Global health governance and foreign policy” will lead the start-up of a new research cooperation which aims to map and exchange knowledge between the fields of global health and foreign policy.

LEVE announces two MSc scholarships of 10 months’ duration from 30 August 2010 to 30 June 2011. Each scholarship amounts to NOK 30,000.

Máiread Maguire, Peace Price Laureate of 1976, has announced the nomination of Dr. Mustafa Barghouthi for the 2010 prize. The nomination is recognition of Dr Barghouthi’s commitment to peace and nonviolence in Palestine. Dr. Barghouthi was one of the speakers in the LEVE seminar Health as Foreign Policy: From Emergency to Governance.
