Oslo Buddhist Studies Forum

A forum for presentations and discussion of ongoing research related to Buddhist studies.

The Oslo Buddhist Studies Forum meets on a monthly basis, usually every second Tuesday of the month. Here either members of the Department of Culture Studies and Oriental Languages (IKOS) present and discuss their ongoing research related to Buddhist Studies, or a guest lecturer will present a talk on a Buddhist related topic. The forum hopes to facilitate a more immediate exchange among scholars of Buddhist Studies. It also serves to serve as platform for communicating and discussing research results and questions with others who are interested in the study of religions, and hence addresses potentially many PluRel colleagues.

Co-ordinated by Associate Professor Christoph Anderl, and Professor Ute Hüsken, both IKOS.
