Computer and software at the UiO

Students can use the computers at the faculty or depatment computer labs. For location of computer labs, please see the IT services pages for your faculty or department. Students can also bring their own protable computers or other portable devices to campus and connect them to the Eduroam wireless network using their UiO user name and password. Faculty and staff use computers owned by the UiO. Local IT staff recommend, purchase and maintain these computers. If you have questions regarding purchase or maintenance og UiO computers, please contact local IT.
