Language Tests

Both the TOEFL (American) and the IELTS (British) measure English language skills appropriate for studying in an English-speaking country or on an English-language course of study.

What is the difference between the TOEFL and IELTS?

  • Both are English Language tests at an academic level.
  • Both the TOEFL and IELTS tests are widely accepted.
  • IELTS generally releases the results sooner than TOEFL.
  • Contact your institution to find out if you must take one test or the other.
