Special Events programme
The University of Oslo's Special Events programme has events such as guided bus tours, walks in and around Oslo, visits to museums, cross country skiing courses, shorter and longer hikes, weekend trips, film evenings and the weekly Coffee Hour.
We hope that international and Norwegian students will actively join in and enjoy the programme. The idea is to contribute cultural and social elements to the academic life and thus make your stay in Norway as an international student a more pleasant, interesting, and stimulating experience.

Signing up
Most of the events have a limited capacity and booking is on a first-come-first-served basis. Your booking will be confirmed by e-mail a few days before the event. If you are not able to sign up, it means the event is already fully booked or not open yet. Please note that you do not need to sign up for the Coffee Hour or the film evenings.
The sign up forms close two working days before the event is scheduled. If the event is held on a Sunday, the sign up form will close at midnight the Thursday before.
