Buying printouts

The price is NOK 0.80 per double-sided print (black/white A4 format). Colour printing and special printing are available at other rates. All printouts produced via UiO’s printout system are double-sided and you pay in accordance with this.

Methods of payment

The number of printout pages you get depends on the method of payment you use. You get more pages by using Visa/Mastercard.

Payment with Visa/Mastercard in Studentweb

A small fee is charged and taken from the amount you pay. Each double-sided print page costs NOK 0.80

• NOK 100 - gives 116 double-sided prints.
• NOK 200 - gives 238 double-sided prints.
• NOK 400 - gives 482 double-sided prints.

With this method of payment, the printout allowance is updated immediately.

Payment via an Internet bank or giro

You will find payment information, i.e. account number, new KID number and the amount you can buy printouts for, in StudentWeb. A fee of NOK 25 is taken from the amount you pay. Each double-sided print page costs NOK 0.80.

• NOK 100 - gives 94 double-sided prints.
• NOK 200 - gives 219 double-sided prints.
• NOK 400 - gives 469 double-sided prints.

With the use of an Internet bank/telegiro, the printout allowance will be updated within 2-4 days. Giros sent by post may take longer.

Have you bought too much?

If you have paid for more printouts than you have actually used, you will not be refunded the paid-in amount. Instead, the allowance you have purchased will be transferred to the next semester.

Printout history

A printout history of the previous 14 days and an overview of how much of the printout allowance remains can be found by logging on to the system for user administration with your usual UiO user name and password.

Exceptions for individual student groups

Invoice paid students with registered work contracts (including group teachers and terminal room monitors) receive free printout allowances.
