Semester fee when you are on leave or are studying part-time

Leave of absence

Students on leave of absence from studies at UiO are not to pay the semester fee or register for the semester as long as they are on leave. Students on parental leave may choose to pay the semester fee and register for the semester.

Part-time studies

The semester fee to the Foundation for Student Life in Oslo and Akershus is the same for part-time and full-time programmes, also if you are individually admitted to part-time studies.
