In addition to the regular admission requirements, these programmes require that the applicant can document previous studies in natural sciences (mathematics/physics/chemistry/biology/informatics/geosciences/technology) at the upper secondary school or university level.

If you are familiar with Norwegian secondary education, the requirements are as follows: either MATRS (R1/(S1+S2), or REALFA R1/(S1+S2) + (R1+R2) / FYS(1+2) / KJE(1+2) / BIO(1+2) / INFO(1+2) / GEO(1+2) / TEK(1+2) from Norwegian upper secondary school. If you do not fulfill these requirements, but have comparable background from another educational institution, this should be documented in your application, and will be individually evaluated by the University of Oslo.

If the academic level of your subjects is not evident from the documentation, please include specific information on the courses taken in mathematics and/or science in secondary school or college/university.
