Required supporting documents for EU/EEA/Swiss Master's applicants

Applicants from the EU/EEA-area and Switzerland, who graduate in Spring 2012, may apply to Master's degree programmes beginning in August 2012 before 15 April 2012. However, you must within the application deadline submit the current transcripts of records and a confirmation from your institution that you will fulfill the requirements for graduation. Selected applicants will receive an offer of admission on the condition that they submit their final Bachelor's degree diploma.

Please note that late or incomplete applications will not be processed. All documents must be received by the International Education Office within the 15. April deadline.

Attestation form

To be personally signed and submitted by the applicant.

Recent photograph Attached to the Attestation form.
Copy of passport

To be submitted by the applicant.

Documentation of English language proficiency

Must be sent directly to the International Education Office by the issuing authority.

Documentation of name change (if applicable)

Officially certified documentation of name change must be submitted by the applicant if name appears different in any document. 

Motivation Letter

 A one-page letter giving reasons for applying for the programme(s) of your choice at the University of Oslo (background, course work in progress, educational objectives).

Final degree certificate(s)

To be submitted by the applicant.

Copies of original certificates must be officially certified by the awarding institution.

Transcript of records/ Mark sheets

Should preferably be sent directly to the International Education Office by the issuing institution. If this service is not provided, the transcripts must be officially certified and sealed in an envelope by the issuing institution.

Translations If the language of the original document is not English, an official translation made by an authorized translator must be enclosed.
