The programme in Health Management and Health Economics qualifies students for administrative and management positions in hospitals, health care organisations, public health administration, private clinics and other organisations that are concerned with the availability and quality of health services. The curriculum includes health management, economics and politics, health legislation, and informatics, and offers an understanding of the scientifi c basis and values in health care.
The methods of instruction are varied, emphasis is placed on the students' working independently, individually and in small groups, and there are various forms of continuous assessment.
