What to do before arrival
- Accept your place of study
Reply to the offer of admission in the SøknadsWeb. - Apply for visa/residence permit
Start the residence permit application process as soon as possible. - Apply for housing
Submit the application for student accommodation by 1 June.

Inform us if you have special needs (e.g. a physical disability, dyslexia, etc.) - Course registration for exchange students

Pick-Up Service and getting to the student residences. - Orientation Week
The Orientation Week for Autumn 2013 starts Monday 12 August. - Buddy system
Establish a social and academic network as soon as you arrive at the University of Oslo.
- Confirmation of exchange
Information about Learning Agreements and other certificates for incoming exchange students. - Semester registration
Register for courses and examinations and pay the semester fee. - Norwegian language courses
Exchange students can apply for Norwegian language courses.
