Upon completing the programme, you will have a versatile background that prepares you to continue working as researcher within the social sciences or to work with statistics, data analytics, and measurements in private or government-owned enterprises.

Jobs

The programme gives you a solid foundation in research methods, data analysis and test development combined with a thorough awareness of topical debates and issues in assessment, measurement and evaluation. You will be ready to get involved in everyday professional practice involving monitoring, accountability, qualification or evaluation including human resource management and consultancy in the commercial and governmental segment, but also for broader analytic jobs in a business or research setting.

As a Master of Science in Assessment, Measurement and Evaluation your newly-acquired solid methodological background gives you an edge when applying for PhD positions in different fields across the social sciences, both in Norway and abroad.
