Archaeology and Conservation
This programme consists of two fields of study: Archaeology and Cultural Heritage Preservation Studies.
The study of Archaelogy provides an introduction to the cultural history of Europe from the Palaeolithic to the Medieval Ages. Cultural Heritage Preservation Studies introduces students to the purpose, philosophy and ethics of conservation. Both fields of study combine theoretical and methodological aspects with empirical material. Please note that admission for the Cultural Heritage Preservation Studies is every second year.
