Informatics: Technical and Scientific Applications
This programme is appropriate if you want an IT education that combines in-depth knowledge of programming with a solid foundation in mathematics / statistics, and if you want to work with applications of these within e.g. science, technology, image processing, signal processing or biomedicine.
The programme includes theory and methods for programming computers, a solid foundation in mathematics, introduction to statistical modelling, and many applications of computers and mathematics in science, technology and medicine.
Additional admission criteria:
Previous studies in mathematics at upper secondary school or university level are required. Documentation must be submitted together with the application, and candidates will be evaluated individually.
