Ved Norsk institutt for naturforskning (NINA) i Oslo ledes det tverrfaglige EU-prosjektet POLICYMIX(http://policymix.nina.no/). I dette prosjektet studeres effekter av ulike tiltak for å bevare biologisk mangfold i skog. Prosjektet søker en masterstudent som skal skrive sin oppgave innen enten miljø og utvikling, sosiologi eller samfunnsgeografi. Studenten vil gjennomføre feltarbeid innen et delprosjekt som studerer ulike betraktninger om sosiale konsekvenser av skogtiltak i en kommune i Buskerud. Opprettelsen av et verneområde (Trillemarka-Rollagsfjell naturreservat) vil her stå sentralt. Studenten vil få et engasjement ved NINA som omfatter dekking av utgifter til feltarbeid (inntil kr. 3.000,-) samt timebasert betaling for spesifiserte assistentoppgaver (150 timer), lesesalplass, veiledning og assistentoppgaver. Studenten må kunne lese og snakke norsk.
