Programme structure

The program consists of 4 compulsory and 2 optional courses of 10 ECTS/credits each, five of which will normally be taken in the first year. Most courses will seek to integrate historical and contemporary perspectives.

The second year is dedicated to writing a 60 ECTS/credits Master thesis. The theme of the Master thesis will be decided during the second term of the first year, in connection with a thesis seminar. The workload related to the thesis seminar will correspond to a 10 ECTS/credits course (but is formally integrated in the 60 ECTS/credits Master thesis). The last elective course will therefore normally be taken in the first term of the second year.
