The Department of Health Management and Health Economics welcomes the class of 2011 to the International Master programme in Health Economics Policy and Management.
Important notice for new master students 2011:
Compulsory information meeting:
On Monday 15 August the Department invites the class of 2011 to an introduction meeting in seminar room 3, Harald Schjelderups Hus, Forsknigsveien 3A. Lunch will be served.
At the meeting you will get to learn about the programme and meet your lecturers and fellow students. Two student representatives will also be elected at the meeting.
Time: 9am- 11am, Monday August 15

Introduction course in the Norwegian Health Care system:
On Wednesday 17 and 18 August the faculty will give an introduction course to the Norwegian Health Care System. This introductory course is especially important for international students to attend.
Lecture 1 will be held 17 August from 9-11am in seminar room 1, Harald Schjelderups Hus
Lecture 2 will be held 18 August from 9-12am in seminar rrom 1, Harald Schjelderups Hus

Courses you must register for:
In your first semester at the master programme in Health Economics, Policy and Management you must register for the following courses:
All students must register for: HMM4202
Students with a background in statistics from their BA-degree must register for HMM4101
Students without a background in statistics must register for HMM4100
HMM4401 is mandatory if you do not have an educational background within health sciences. If you have an educational background within health sciences you must sign up for an elective course instead of HMM4401.
How to register:
You must attend the registration help at Sofus Bugge Hus on Thursday 18 between 12-16 if you need help registering.
Deadline for registering and confirming your education plan, and paying the semester fee and the copy fee is on September 1. However, to get the necessary computer accesses the Department advices you to do this as soon as possible.
You register by using the Studentweb (log on to Studenweb and go to 'semester registration'/ 'semesterregistrering').
Both mandatory and elective courses must be registered within September 1, using the Studentweb. Remember that the student fee also must be paid within September 1. You will find the invoice on Studentweb.
