Semester abroad

The programme offers students a unique opportunity to spend a period overseas as a formal component of one’s studies. Students are given the option to undertake courses at a partner institution of their choice, as well as to be involved with field research overseas as part of their final thesis dissertation (fourth semester). Norwegian students are encouraged to conduct their field work abroad. Possible financial support is provided by the European Union’s Erasmus scholarship program, and other official exchange programs and entities. Students are given dedicated administrative support while applying for one of the many exchange opportunities within the program.
