This programme offers professionals the opportunity to engage first-hand with special and inclusive education policies and practice. You will have the unique opportunity of studying in three different countries.
The programme is designed for those working in the field of special needs education, such as teachers, lecturers, policymakers and managers. The aim is to strengthen and develop the capacity of professionals to respond particularly to children with disabilities and special needs.
An international programme
This programme is unique in that it is an integrated programme jointly offered and awarded by the following highly reputed partner institutions:

- University of Oslo, Norway
- Univerzita Karlova v Praze (Charles University), Prague, Czech Republic
Unlike other master´s programmes in this field, participants will have the chance of spending time in Norway and the Czech Republic as well as the UK. The core teaching staff on this programme, from each of the three main partner universities, include respected academics with national and international reputations, recognised for their research and publications in special and inclusive education.
Students will also have the option of spending three months in Malaysia or South Africa.
Language and cultural experience
The progamme is run entirely in English and you will be given the opportunity to attend support courses in Czech and Norwegian language. In addition to studying at three well-renowned European universities, you will be part of a multicultural study environment and gain invaluable cultural experience, European competence and a global and comparative perspective in your professional field.
