Abstract

The Higher Education Development Association (Hedda) podcast series and blog were developed for the two international master programmes in Higher Education at the Faculty of Education, University of Oslo in order to enrich both the academic and practical learning environment. The two programmes, Master of Philosophy in Higher Education (M.Phil) and the European Master in Higher Education (HEEM), are primarily composed of international students.

The international and mobile dimension of these programmes, as well as the response of student needs, has encouraged academic and administrative staff to create new forums for mobile learning (m-Learning) and integrate web tools, namely, podcasts and blogging. These web tools have increased the flexibility for students and staff, as well as expanded the arena for teaching and learning. This paper provides an overview of the integration and student feedback relating to these m-Learning and web tools.
