Summary
The Higher Education Development Association (Hedda) podcast series and blog were developed for the two international master’s degree programmes in Higher Education at the Faculty of Education, University of Oslo, (in order) to enrich both the academic and practical learning environments. The two programmes, Master of Philosophy in Higher Education (M.Phil) and the European Master in Higher Education (HEEM), are primarily composed of international students. The international and mobile dimensions of these programmes, as well as the response of student needs, have encouraged academic and administrative staff to create new forums for mobile learning (m-Learning) and integrate web tools, namely podcasts and blogging. These web tools have increased the flexibility for students and staff, as well as expanded the arena for teaching and learning. This paper provides an overview of the integration and student feedback relating to these web tools and m-Learning.
