Surrogacy is becoming an international "trade" with mainly buyers from the Western World and supplyers from developing countries. In this seminar Kristin Engh Førde examines the development of surrogacy in India.

The principal objective of the course is to critically review different approaches to health inequality, which will enable doctoral students to understand the causes of the causes of ill health – the political determinants of health.
