The main aim of the course is to give knowledge about how the glaciers respond on climate changes. A global perspective will be given with emphasis on examples from Polar Regions. Focus will be on understanding processes and impacts of the climate on glacier behaviour.

Bachelor courses in physical geography; glaciology/geomorphology
5 ECTS points with AG325 given at UNIS.
Lectures and seminars where recent papers will be presented and discussed.
Project report and oral examination with equal weighting. A written exam may be held instead of the oral if there are more than eight students. Letter grades (A-F).
This course does not offer new examination in the beginning of the subsequent term for candidates who withdraw during an ordinary examination or fail an ordinary examination.
