Course content

This course is part of the Gr√ľnderskolen programme, and consists of two seminars during the spring. It includes sessions for inspiration and support for maximising the learning outcomes from the rest of the programme, both academically and personally. Sessions typically include cross-cultural understanding and communication, entrepreneurs sharing their stories and destination briefings held by former students.

Admission

Students enrolled in the study programme Gr√ľnderskolen will be registered by the Centre for Entrepreneurship. The course is not open to other students.

Prerequisites

Formal prerequisite knowledge

ENT4000 or equivalent course on master's level
ENT4190 or special equivalent and preapproved courses
ENT4200

Teaching

Compulsory seminars at the University of Oslo late January/early February and late April. Typically Friday from the morning until late evening.

Examination

Written report to be delivered at the end of the stay abroad.

Language of examination

The examination text is given in either Norwegian or English. If it is given in Norwegian you may submit your response in Norwegian, Swedish, Danish or English. If it is given in English you must submit your response in English.

Withdrawal from an examination

A student may sit this exam up to 3 times. If a student wishes to withdraw from the exam, s/he must do so by sending an e-mail to info@grunderskolen.no. The deadline for withdrawing from the exam is two weeks before the deadline for submitting the last assignment/paper. Failure to do so will be counted as one of the three opportunities to sit the exam.

Evaluation

The course is subject to continuous evaluation. At regular intervals we also ask students to participate in a more comprehensive evaluation.
