ECON4310 and ECON4330 overlap in that Ramsey and Diamond type models are applied to open economies in both. Since a great majority of the students has been through ECON4310 before, we shall avoid too much repetition in.  Those who have not gone through ECON4310 before are strongly recommended to prepare for lecture 2 by reading in advance the relevant chapters in Obstfeld-Rogoff and /or the lecture note by Rødseth.
