Course content
The master thesis holds a central position in the Intercontextual Master Program, and the entire second year is supposed to be committed to this work (60 credits). The theme is to be decided at the latest in the spring semester of the first year, in cooperation with the teacher, and the theme is to be accepted by the program coordinator.
Learning outcomes
Learn to work independently and scientifically, and to present new insights from intercontextual studies in a pedagogical way.

Prerequisites
Formal prerequisites
CONT4605 - Master thesis seminar has to be passed.
Teaching
The student is supposed to work independently, but will have a supervisor appointed by the Faculty. In addition the student is supposed to take part in the second year thesis workshop, where parts of the thesis will be presented and discussed with teachers and other students.
There will be 15 hours of academic supervision.
Exam information
The thesis should be an independent research based on scientific methods, dealing with a central theme in intercontextual theology, 28.000 - 40.000 words.
Language of examination
English.
Assessment and grading
The evaluations are graded A-F.
