Telemark Research Institute awards a grant for master’s students writing theses within research areas relevant to our fields of study:
- Cultural Policy studies
- Regional development
- Local Public Finance and Organisation
- Public health/welfare

We award one grant twice a year. The application deadline is 15th of June or 15th of December each year.
The grant includes:
- 15 000 NOK
- Counselling from a researcher at TRI
- The opportunity to be connected to a ongoing research project at TRI (dependent on relevance and practical matters)
If awarded a grant, we ask you to present your master’s thesis to the researchers at TRI.
Applying for the grant:
Write a short description of your master’s thesis project (maximum 3 pages) and a short paragraph about the relevance for our fields of study. This should be sent to kristine.p.miland@tmforsk.no. The application, aswell as the actual master’s thesis, can be written (and presented) in Norwegian, Swedish, Danish or English.
The applications will be reviewed with the following criteria:
- Quality of the project (70%)
- Relevance (30 %)
