What does it mean to be a member?
Network membership is first and foremost about applying the considerable moral and intellectual weight and voice of the universities.
It is a statement of support for the abolition of the death penalty worldwide.
The university lends its name and symbolic power to the struggle. Beyond this, the university does not commit itself to any specific responsibilities. Member universities will be receiving information on possible ways of working against the death penalty in the university context and on initiatives taken by other universities, faculties, or institutes.
