Co-authorship with Chinese institutions by subject area (2013-15)

As illustrated in the figure above, during the three-year period 2013-2015, Physics and Astronomy counted for 35 % of all co-authorships with China. When excluding group authorships (articles with more than 100 co-authors), Life Sciences represent 32%, whereas Computer Science, Engineering, Environmental Science, Earth and Planetary Sciences, and other hard sciences count for close to 60% of co-publications with Chinese institutions.
