The government no longer recommends regular testing, but if needed locally, municipalities with sufficient capacity can make tests available at universities.

UiO has received tests from Oslo Municipality/SiO. The tests have been distributed to local units. The units will provide information and ensure distribution among students and staff.

The local districts of Oslo Municipality are responsible for distributing self-tests. Please refer to Oslo Municipality's website for updated information on criteria, registration of positive self-tests, and collection points for self-tests in the local districts.

Quarantine and isolation

The government no longer requires quarantine, but those who test positive for Covid-19 must still be isolated for four days. Close contacts and members of the same household should get tested.

If showing symptoms of illness, stay at home.
