Career plans and annual career development interviews with postdocs at the Faculty of Medicine
All postdoctoral fellows must have a career plan that is reviewed and followed up with the immediate manager through annual career development interviews.
- These interviews can be part of the regular one-to-one work dialogues or other follow-up.
- The career development interviews should not be held with the nearest professional supervisor, but with someone who knows the professional environment and the external professional landscape as well as the job opportunities there.
- The career plan shall, in addition to planned research activities, describe plans for other qualifying work, including teaching assignments and participation in organised program activity (for example the Postdoctoral Program).
- Note: Postdoctoral fellows who have NFR funding must also send a career plan to NFR.
