Applying for holidays in the HR portal

You register requests for vacation in the HR portal.

  • Vacation requests are made under Working Time in the Employee Self-Service window.
  • Select Leave request.


  • The calendar displays your absences.


  • New registrations are made further down in the window.
    • Select type of absence from the drop-down menu. You may apply for paid or unpaid holiday leave [1].
    • Set the dates of absence [2].
    • You may leave a note to your approver in the New Note box [3].
    • Select Check to update the entry [4].


  • You will be notified if you lack sufficient quotas for the absence.
  • Select Send for approval.


  • Review the registration and select OK to send the request.


  • The request is verified and displayed in the calendar.
