UiO:Nordic is announcing funding for up to three interfacultary research groups for the period 2020–2022.

UiO:Nordic is an interdisciplinary initiative at UiO aimed at promoting new and relevant knowledge on the Nordic region and Nordic perspectives in an international context, partly through a critical focus on concepts and notions of ‘the Nordic model’.
ReNEW announces a targeted call for mobility and workshop grants for Copenhagen Business School and Södertörn University (both mobility and workshops), Aarhus University (mobility only) and University of Oslo (workshops only). Eligible applicants are researchers at all stages of their careers, including PhD students and affiliated researchers, working in these above-mentioned universities. Funding is applied for on a competitive basis.
ReNEW mobility and workshop grants can be applied for on a competitive basis by all scholars working in a partner university of the ReNEW Hub, including affiliated researchers. Applicants must be doing research within the themes of ReNEW, conceived broadly.
ReNEW (Re-imagining Norden in an Evolving World) hosts the annual Nordic challenges conferences. ReNEW supports workshops, mobility, summer-schools and Ph.d training, as well as outreach activities, for a six-year period, running from 2018 to 2023.

In line with UiO:Nordic’s ambitions to generate new knowledge about Nordic characteristics by facilitating excellence in research and UiO's ambitions to increase external funding (cf. UiO2020), UiO:Nordic is calling for applications for strategic funds for three different purposes: 1) funds for workshops, 2) project start-up support, and 3) publishing support.
