Workshop in Athens - Nordic and Greek bureaucracy and societies in comparison: ideas for research and cooperation

UiO Nordic organized a workshop in Athens Dec. 1-3. 2016 where scholars from Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Greece discussed the relationship between bureaucracy and society in Greece and the Nordic countries.

 Nordic and Greek bureaucracy and societies in comparison: ideas for research and cooperation invited scholars from Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Greece discussed the relationship between bureaucracy and society in Greece and the Nordic countries.

Norway's ambassador to Greece, Jørn Gjelstad, gave the opening speech. Speeches of welcome was also given by the director of the center, Jorunn Økland and the decan of the faculty of humanities, Arne Bugge Amundsen as well as academic director of UiO Nordic Haldor Byrkjeflot.
