As part of Forskningsdagene, this panel with members from both Nordic Branding and UiO:Norden discusses the relationship between Norway's gender- and diplomatic brands.

The panel discussion seeks to answer the question: Is Norway a gender equal nation, a peace nation, or both? And how are these cultivated as brands?
In the Open Access book Gender Equality and Nation Branding in the Nordic Region (Routledge, 2021), panel participant Inger Skjelsbæk (Professor and Director, Center for Gender Research, UiO) and Torunn Tryggestad (Deputy Director, PRIO) explore where gender equality and peace efforts intersect in Norwegian foreign policy. Panel participant Sigrun Marie Moss was also one of the editors of this book.
This is both a physical event and streamed online, so it is possible to enjoy it from home as well. This event suits well for anyone interested in research related to gender, foreign policy, or Nordic brand cultivation.
