Printing from Linux on printer with card reader

If you have a computer with Linux and want to print on a printer with a card reader, do the following:

Initial setup

Before you can start using a printer with card reader, you need to pick the printer queue and register your employee or student card.

Printing after initial setup is complete

When your computer has the correct settings, you may print. Choose the document you want to print by placing your card on the card reader. If you have queued several documents to print, you can either print one of the documents or all of them.

Print from the wireless network?

For Linux, the setup and approach is the same, whether you print from a stationary computer or a laptop.
