Scientific Computing User Forum 2019

Abel is shutting down and the system taking over for Abel is situated in Trondheim. For the first time in decades UiO will no longer host a national general-purpose HPC system. However, UiO's scientific computing user community will remain strong, and so will your opinions. Now that Abel disappears as the natural focal point for scientific computing we want to establish a regular User Forum event for all scientific computing users at UiO (including users of HPC resources, AI resources, users of any research computing infrastructure) where we can hear your opinions, share experiences and inform you about our plans and updates and about recent and coming upgrades to the national HPC infrastructure.

Contact email :

Additionally you will be able to:

- tell us about your own user experiences
- tell us about what is not working
- tell us about what you think is working well
- come with wishes about further development of services

And there will be a light lunch at the end!

There should be enough room, but it would be good if you can register so that we can make sure there will be enough lunch for all. And if you have time to fill in the survey part of the registration we will be much obliged.
