The International Summer School (ISS) is part of University of Oslo's (UiO) contingency plans for the Coronavirus (COVID-19) based on the advisories from the Norwegian Institute of Public Health, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Oslo Municipality. We are continuously monitoring the situation, and actively taking appropriate steps to ensure the safety of our students and staff members.

Digital classrooms for level II and III this autumn

The Corona virus situation has developed in such a way that it is important to implement preventive measures. For the autumn semester there will be digital classes for level II and III, level I will have regular classes at Blindern campus. Additional digital teaching materials are also being produced specially for this unique situation, to ensure that our students get as good a teaching and follow up as possible.

Office closed for visitors and telephone inquiries until further notice

The ISS office is closed for visitors until further notice. However, we have staff working from home, so please free to send us an email at for any inquiries you may have. Feel free to call in our regular office hours 08:00-15:00.
